My Ideal Destination: Living with a family in Brazil. I think that you can only really experience the full joys of travelling when you are imersed in a culture, absolutely and fully. Brazil to me is somewhere I've always wanted to go. When I think of Brazil I think of sun, music and colour... it seems so far away from home. Living with locals I could experience the Brazilian way of life, their language, vibrant culture and food. An experience I probably wouldn't receive fully staying in a hotel/hostel. I would be able to embrace unfamiliar surroundings and explore places not listed in the guidebooks. This would hopefully give me a purer understanding about the country. To me, this is what travelling is all about.
