My Ideal Destination: Currently, Japan. Before I die, I must experience Hounen Matsuri (the fertility festival where they carry giant penises around the streets! What's not to love?), ryokans, capsule hotels, Harajuku (been obsessed with Shoichi Aoki's photographs since 1998), bullet trains, vending machine insanity... Right now I am diligently saving my frequent flyer miles towards the purchase of a ticket. I'm aiming for Spring 2011 - we'll see what happens!! Also high on the list: Andorra, Israel, UAE, China, Guam, Kiribati, Alaska, Greenland, Peru, Costa Rica, Madagascar...
