Well let’s see...the pressure to be charismatic is slightly overwhelming but I’ll give it a shot: I am bubbly, friendly and enthusiastic, or at least I like to think so. Currently I’m a gap year student who can’t wait to swap her familiar surroundings for something more exotic!! The opportunity to meet new people and experience different cultures while being able to see some of the world’s most spectacular sites is something I find extremely desirable.
My Ideal Destination: It's so hard to choose just one destination when the world is brimming with fantastic possibilities. My mind first jumps to Thailand or Japan. Now I know that both of these are not very specific destinations but their cultures are so diverse I believe it would be brilliant to explore the countries as a whole to discover all their many different, often contrasting, elements. For a time I believed Japan had won first place for me as you can have the best of both worlds; vibrant cities bursting with technology and funky edgy fashion as well as peaceful countryside overflowing with ancient cultural gems. However even though Japan's culture is so far removed from our own, which would make it a real pleasure to discover, the truth is I’m an old romantic at heart. The world renowned cultural hotspot Paris remains the ultimate destination for me. It combines my love of history, my desire to experience different cultures and satisfies my curiosity for new cuisines.
